Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek

18 Days 17 Nights

The Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek is one of the most thrilling and scenic trekking adventures in Nepal, located in the remote eastern region near the border of Nepal and Sikkim (India). Towering at 8,586 meters, Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third-highest mountain in the world. This trail was only opened to trekkers in 1988, making it one of Nepal’s most pristine and less-traveled routes.

The trek offers a remarkable mix of natural beauty, diverse cultures, and spectacular mountain views. Along the journey, you’ll witness breathtaking panoramas of four of the world’s highest peaks—Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Makalu. The region is protected by the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project (KCAP), which spans over 2,035 sq. km and is home to an incredible range of biodiversity.
