Yala Peak Climbing

Begin your adventure with a scenic 7-hour drive (122 km) from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the entry point to the Langtang region. Trek for around 6 hours (14 km) through thick forests and wide alpine meadows, with the towering Langtang Lirung (7,227 m) gradually coming into view. Along the way, pass through Ghoda Tabela, where the valley opens up to scenic yak pastures and spinning Buddhist prayer wheels. Take a shorter 3-hour trek (7 km) to Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual heart of the Langtang region. The trail passes through glacial moraines and open yak pastures, offering a peaceful and scenic walk. Once in Kyanjin, visit the ancient monastery and stop by the local cheese factory for a unique cultural experience. In the afternoon, consider an optional acclimatization hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,800 m), where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and other towering peaks. Spend a full day in Kyanjin Gompa to acclimatize and enjoy the beauty and culture of the region. Trek for about 6 hours (14 km) as you descend through familiar forests and scenic alpine meadows. On your final trekking day, hike for 6–7 hours (16 km) back to Syabrubesi via the picturesque route through Sherpa Gaun and Khangjim Village.
