The normal route of ascent on Naya Kanga is via the North-East Ridge, an aesthetic line on snow and ice, classically alpine in character. The Langtang valley lies roughly thirty kilometers north of Kathmandu quite close to the border with Tibet. Indeed one of the rewards of gaining the Ganja La of the summit of Naya Kanga is the superb views of peaks close to Tibet.

Naya Kanga peak is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La pass (5,122m). Ascending to Ganja La or the summit of Naya Kanga offers the spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,013m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m). The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga is via the north – East Ridge over a line on ice and snow. We follow the route of Langtang trek to Kyangjin (3,749m) for the ascent of Naya Kanga. To the north above Kangjin, there are several hills that provide both the wonderful views and the acclimatization. North – east of Kyangjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo ri Peak (4949m) that provide good climbing for acclimatization. The normal route for climbing Naya Kanga peak is north – East Face & North Ridge.

Day 01 :

Arrive Kathmandu:

Our office representative awaits you in front of the arrival gate, showing your name Card, transfer to Hotel, we offer ca omplimentary dinner at Hotel 7-8 pm, meet other participants to discuss about trip, Hotel B&B.

Day 02 :

Kathmandu Sightseeing:

After Breakfast , Explore Culture tour in Kathmandu, that is includes Boudhanath Stupa perhaps biggest in world's, Monastery, Pashupatinath Temple, Hindu's holiest temple and Patan Durbar Square and Swoyambu nath Stupa situated on hillock of Kathmandu from entire Kathmandu Visible and amazing Stupa with its beautiful arts. Hotel B&B.

Day 03 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche, Camp:

Drive offers beautiful views of the Himalayas, small isolated villages, River gorges, waterfalls, dense forest, rice terraced fields, and where people are working, ploughing. Camp.

Day 04 :

Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaun( 2100m/6hrs)-Camp:

Today we trek through a peaceful trail, offering good views of the Himalaya, Small Tamang Villages, Once it was busy when road connected to Syabru Bensi, trekkers did not use this trail any more. Starting from Dhunche would help for acclimatization instead getting quickly to Langtang.

Day 05 :

Trek Syabrugaun to Lama Hotel(2380m/5-6hrs)-Camp:

Trail descend along the ridge then drop to the river valley through terraced field and forest, then trail ascend gradually through river valley, offering views of waterfall, dense forest to Lama Hotel.

Day 06 :

Trek to Langtang Village (3500m/6-7hrs)-Camp:

Trail ascend through the boiling narrow River Valley, Today we can see some Langur (monkey), Deer and various species of bird. From Gore table valley widen, mountain are visible, Yaks grazing.

Day 07 :

Trek from Langtang to Kanjin Gompa (3800m/3hrs)-Camp:

Easy couple of hrs trek, enjoying good views of Mountain. We reach Kanjin for Lunch,after lunch we will climb Kanjin Ri 4300m.

Day 08 :

Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Naya Kanga Base Camp (4400m), 5 hours:

Today after having breakfast we will start our trek to Naya Kanga Base Camp via beautiful trail with juniper shrubs on both sides. On the way we cross suspension bridge and walk uphill enjoying the great views of giant snow capped mountains and Langtang glacier.

Day 09 :

Acclimatization in Naya Kanga Base Camp:

Today also we take rest at Naya Kanga Base Camp, since we have come to a greater height. While on trekking in the area of higher altitude it is wise to acclimatize, if not, we would suffer from altitude sickness.

Day 10 :

Climb from Naya Kanga Base Camp to High Camp (5000m), 4 hours:

Today we will have a comparatively difficult walk on a steep uphill trail. We have to walk along the rocky and icy glacier. We will reach NayaKanga high camp in around 4 hours than our experienced guide will provide you training on Peak Climbing which will make your trip easy and successful.

Day 11 :

Summit Naya Kanga (5844m.) and ascend to Base Camp, 8-9 hours:

Today is the day to reach our ultimate destination of the trip. We will set out very early in the morning in order to prevent storm on the noon. We will ascent the summit and enjoy the majestic views of high peaks and descend down to base camp.

Day 12 :

Trek from Naya Kanga Base Camp to Langtang via Kanjyin Gompa, 5-6 hours:

Today we walk mostly downhill through the way lined with juniper shrubs on both sides. After short walk we will reach Kyangjin Gompa and continue our downhill trek to Langtang.

Day 13 :

Trek from Langtang to Lama Hotel, 5-6 hours:

We begin our trek after breakfast to lama Hotel. We retrace the same path but most of the walk today is downhill through the forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We will also have the chance to explore the mountainous views that we missed during climbing up. Overnight stay in Lama Hotel.

Day 14 :

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi, 5-6 hours:

We will retrace our steps to Syabrubesi; the trek will be easier because we mostly go downhill today.

Day 15 :

Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1350m), 6 hours:

After having breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu, where you can spend the rest of the day by packing or going for some shopping. Alpine Treks Nepal will celebrate our successful trip in Langtang valley by hosting a farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Day 16 :

Final departure:

We will assist in your last-minute packing, and then our representative will leave you to Tribhuvan International Airport from where you can return to your home or yet another destination. We hope to serve you again.
