Everest Base Camp Trekking

15 Days 14 Nights

The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic and sought-after trekking adventures in the Himalayas. Located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range, Mount Everest stands as the world’s highest peak at 8,848 meters, straddling the border between Nepal and China (Tibet Autonomous Region). Known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet, Everest draws adventurers from around the globe.

Following the legendary path taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay during their historic 1953 ascent, the trek leads you through the heart of the Khumbu Valley—home of the Sherpas. The journey offers gradual acclimatization and breathtaking scenery, including four of the world’s six highest mountains: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Along the way, trekkers witness life in traditional Sherpa villages and visit ancient Buddhist monasteries, some of the highest in the world.

This region is part of the UNESCO-listed Sagarmatha National Park, rich in unique Himalayan flora and fauna. You’ll encounter intricately carved mani walls, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, stone stupas, and centuries-old monasteries. The Sherpas, known globally for their strength, endurance, and unmatched mountaineering skills, are equally famous for their warmth, humor, and generous hospitality.

Accommodation on the trek ranges from basic teahouses to more comfortable lodges, ensuring that every traveler finds a suitable place to rest. The Everest Base Camp Trek is more than just a physical journey—it’s a deep cultural and spiritual experience in the shadow of the highest place on Earth.
